We were thinking maybe Baby Igersheim was not ready to come out because the nursery was not ready for him. All this waiting around has provided lots of time for things like catching up on the DVR and walks with Georgia to the dog park, but we also put the finishing touches on the room (with a big thanks to Matt Behnke and John Rosenberg).
Please forgive the poor quality of the photos - I took these on my iphone. We have some gummy bear art and nightlight, a needlepoint of Noah's Ark that my Mom did for me when I was little, a beautiful painting by my Cousin Dickie, and a photo of all the Grandparents with their hands on my belly (see earlier post).
We have another piece of art from Daniel's childhood room, as well as a hand-knit blanket from my Mom. We have an airplane mobile from Etsy, and I am particularly proud of the bargain furniture from Craigslist.
Hopefully Baby I will find this room to be very comfortable, if he ever chooses to join us out here in the real world.
Adorable! Great job!
