Atlanta/ day 4 & 5

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday we stayed at the Ritz Carlton Atlanta for the AMMC conference. Grandma babysat while I became a normal person again. Everyone wanted a piece of Bram!

Atlanta/ day 3

We stopped by Northlake Pediatrics for a visit and weigh-in on Monday.

Atlanta/ day 2: A FIVE STAR DAY!

Sunday in Atlanta was an epic day. We started off with a fabulous and fun brunch at The Nook, with cousin Sarah and Walt. The weather was AMAZING and we had a prime spot on the deck, before heading over to Piedmont Park for the Dogwood Festival.

Can you believe this Bloody Mary? Even the waiter had to take a picture! It was a meal in itself.

Atlanta/ day 1

Today Bram got to meet a lot of important folks, including Oliver the cat. He was enthralled with his Great Uncle Merle. Great Aunt Hillary got a two-fer of babies!

What, no baby pic?

Nope! Our first night out without the baby!! Thanks Adele for watching Bram while we snuck out to try the new neighborhood place, Red Hen.

Airplane!

We made it to our gate in time for our flight to Atlanta. Now Bram has found his thumb.

The flight went well aside from one epic diaper explosion, which explains the costume change.

Mr. March

Doesn't he look like a baby Playgirl centerfold? Watch out, Burt Reynolds!

Good morning!

Awake and alert and cheery this Sunday morning!

A trip to H Street NW...

...and Bram's first cheesesteak. Well, he watched us eat cheesesteak. He was mesmerized by the graffiti on the ceiling.

Over the River and Through the Woods

...To Gigi's house we go!  We visited Great Grandma Estelle's new apartment last weekend, and Bram made himself comfortable.

Making Friends

One of our absolute favorite places is Union Market, which is not far from our house.  We always run into Captain Smith, who gives us the inside scoop on the market news.  He was excited to finally meet Bram on our recent trip there.  Looks like Bram was pretty happy too!

Cherry Blossoms

We took advantage of Daniel having the day off on Monday, and took a trip to see the cherry blossoms down by the Waterfront and at the Tidal Basin.  After a nice picnic lunch by the water, we walked down to the fish market and then to the Jefferson Memorial.  We ended the day with some oysters, ceviche, and fried shrimp - yum!
